Hayes Brothers Quarter Horses is located on the Alberta Prairies near Hanna.

  Hayes Brothers, Robert & Leroy  have been breeding registered quarter horses since 1974.  Robert Hayes flew to Alamosa, Colorado in 1988 to meet Hank Wiescamp.  There he purchased "Skip O New", a golden palomino stallion and "Skippa State", a sorrel mare.  This was the beginning of raising linebred Skipper W horses.  With over 800 commercial herefords,  the horses have the opportunity to work in a real ranch setting.

  With almost 50 years of experience.  We take great pride in breeding our horses for disposition, conformation, versatility and athletic ability, believing these qualities are not only an asset but a neccessity for our breeding program.  We offer outstanding performance prospects with foundation Skipper W bloodlines.  Our ranch raised horses are exposed to many situations, from trailing home and sorting pairs, to hauling calves to the branding fire and doctoring in the pasture.
